UNIVERSITE DE SEVILLE

The University of Seville is a ’Public Law' institution, founded in 1505 and the second biggest Spanish university by its number of students. Its academic offer includes more than 67 degrees in Bio-sanitary, Scientific, Technological, Humanistic and Social areas of study; 99 Doctorate programs, 91 official Master degrees and other 238 Masters, Expert and Advanced training courses.

In addition to this educational offer, the University holds academic and exchange partnerships with 850 Institutions throughout the world. More than two thousand incoming and outgoing exchange students are monitored every year.

Research excellence is facilitated by a series of highly advanced services, complemented by important national centres such as the Research Institute, the Centre for Technology and Innovation, the National Accelerator Institute and the Seville Institute of Biomedicine. Over 470 scientific teams of the University work on research projects and almost 40 patents were registered last year.

At the moment, more than 55.000 students attend the University of Seville with around 4.000 professors and an overall budget of 430 million euros budget per year.
